Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine founded in the late 18th century by Samuel Hahnemann. It is based on the principle of “like cures like,” which means that substances that cause symptoms in a healthy person can, in very small doses, treat similar symptoms in a sick person.

Homeopathic remedies are typically used for a wide range of conditions, from acute illnesses to chronic ailments. However, scientific support for homeopathy is mixed, and it remains a controversial field within the medical community.
